Christmas Party

The Colombo Lodge Christmas Party has two main purposes and functions.
Perform the swearing in ceremony for the newly election Colombo Lodge Officers
Present a dinner and dance to celebrate the ceremony and holiday season

The swearing in ceremony is a Colombo Lodge ritual with a predetermined program as dictated by State Lodge traditions. The committee should allow a minimum of twenty minutes for this ceremony in their program. This tradition includes head table placement and seating assignments.

The committee should consider:

  • Ticket sales of approximately 130 people
  • Table assignment for some group seating and table plan
  • Contact and invite parish priest from St. Patricks and St. Frances Cabrjni.
  • Tickets to be printed in November
  • Ticket sales record sheet, reservation sign is sheet
  • Set menu
  • Scholarship determination
  • Arrange for chef
  • Order flowers and centerpieces
  • Arrange for band
  • Arrange for bartender
  • Arrange for servers

  • Check for table cover supplies
  • Arrange receptionist (Take tickets at the door)
  • Determine and review pricing
